Ex-President Donald Trump insisted on Wednesday that he definitely didn’t ask one of his top lackeys in Congress to somehow nullify the 2020 election results and get him reinstated in the White House — but that definitely still needs to happen.
After Trump officially dumped Brooks, the congressman told CNN that the former president had begun asking him and other lawmakers “multiple times” to undo the election as recently as last fall.
We have known this all along, but here again is confirmation that these rat bastards will not rat him out if they think they will get an endorsement from him.
History has a way of settling into a narrative as people move on with their lives. It will bother him more as it–in this case, Joe Biden’s victory and subsequent presidency–becomes more a reality to those people not Trump.
A 2024 campaign would give him the loudest possible podium to gripe about the 2020 loss, so it’s possible!
A little more seriously, I think he might run in 2024 if Biden does, because Trump thinks Biden is weak enough to beat. If Biden doesn’t run and passes the torch, then Trump won’t run, because he won’t know who he’ll be up against until too late in the primary season. He wouldn’t risk running against Harris or whoever beats her in the primary.
But if I did do the crime, it’s not a crime, but if it is a crime, you can’t prove I did it, and if you can prove I did it, it’s OK because everyone does it. And no one knew that. Believe me.
I hate to compare “The Orange Menace” to Bart Simpson (only because I like Bart Simpson) but the parallels are staggering when the excuse diarrhea starts to flow.
