Trump Mulls Suing His Niece Over Apparently Damning Tell-All Book On Family’s ‘Dark History’

President Donald Trump is reportedly considering suing his niece, Mary Trump, over her soon-to-be-published book about their family titled “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man.”

If he sues her, she should start a GoFundMe campaign to cover her legal costs, she will get more money than that from the book. If he does manage to block it in the courts, the contents or at least the juicier parts, could be “leaked.”

When you’re talking about true leadership in a time of multiple national crises–COVID; economic collapse; deteriorating race relations–you’re talking about a guy who sits around thinking about suing his niece.

And in spite of all these revelations one million people requested tickets to the Tulsa rally?

Can’t fix stupid. Even with injections of bleach and anal insertion of UV light.

has been privately saying he’s having his attorneys see what legal action can be taken to halt publication of the apparently devastating tell-all.

At this point it may be easier for him to suspend all publication of anything by anyone.

His lawyers can carve out a temporary exception for OANN.

I agree but we don’t have time for any court proceedings, this needs to get out before the election. I am not sure I will read it, I already know that he is vicious and depraved but it would be nice to have specific instances to refer to when talking about him at Thanksgiving with the right wing relatives.

I’m wondering if more than a few of these million are from the KPop Militia, or similar.

Yes that whole free speech thing was nice when Trump was claiming Obama wasn’t born in the US, but now not so much.

Trump is used to getting his way by suing people who have less resources than he does.
That’s not going to work for him anymore. Because people he sues will have more resources and because people hate him and aren’t just going to give in anymore.
Trump can face a long future where books like this get published, and his lawsuits and threats of lawsuits won’t work.

Or enough to pay off the settled amount to break the NDA-- then publish.

Trump always sues. However, it is puffery to call Trump “the World’s Most Dangerous Man.” When the dust settles after the next financial crisis, that honor will probably go to little Jeb Hensarling, the busy bee who dismantled the Volker Rule. Hensarling is currently an executive at UBS running the North America operation. He will have a front-row seat at the coming fireworks.

It is a distasteful fact that the present situation is so dire in part because the banks fell right back into bad behavior after the last crash—taking too many risks, hiding debt in complex instruments and off-balance-sheet entities, and generally exploiting loopholes in laws intended to rein in their greed. Sparing them for a second time this century will be that much harder.
