According to the New York Times’ Maggie Habberman, Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner has been pushing Trump to pardon Blagojevich in recent months in order to throw a bone at Democrats.
That “bone” he might throw to Dems will totally disarm all of the criticism. I can’t even think of anything that they can discuss at the debates if Blagojevich is out of jail. Well played, sir, well played.
