President Donald Trump took a dig at Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) on Monday morning after the Utah lawmaker marched in a Black Lives Matter protest with evangelical Christians in Washington, D.C. against police brutality on Sunday.
Says the guy utterly unconcerned that his own numbers are "tank"ing as we speak. Been following 538, fuckface? This one Morning Consult poll had you at 36 to 59! If you’re confused about statistics let me Demsplain for you, that’s bad! Oh, and did you see Mitt was marching with a thousand of his evangelical friends? That’s bad for you too! Glad we could have this talk!
Romney strikes me as a guy that really tries to do the right thing and does have some very deeply held moral principles and beliefs. He’s also a corporate robber baron and you can say a lot of things about the Mormon church and I vehemently disagree with him on probably hundreds of points.
But at the very least, he seems to be trying – at times – to be a good human being. What a reflection on the Republican party of today that just that seems to make him stand out so much.
I think at this point Romney is just doing whatever he feels like doing while he waits for his eviction notice from the Republican Party.
Shocked to see that even a Republican Senator has become Antifa!
The fact that Romney marched is to his credit.
The fact that he was apparently the only prominent Republican to do so says everything about today’s Republican Party.
Further proof of how great a president he is for the black people, and that he’s just like all the MAGA folk, who are very fond of the black people.
Clearly a better ‘guy’ than you…at least he shows he cares about the United States as opposed to only caring about yourself…but you wouldn’t understand that now would you Donnie?

Today’s CNN poll numbers are 55-41 Biden. Trump down to 38% approval and 57% (!) disapproval. Romney by contrast has 56% approval in Utah.
Maybe Putin isn’t a great political advisor?
56% approval is pretty bad for Utah.
I would love to see Romney break from his normally flavorless character to say something like (maybe on election eve), “Bye-bye Felicia.”

But for Trump to talk about other people’s numbers seems … foolhardy.
