DUH… because he already talked to Alito who asked him not to. Alito looks bad enough already, and he wants to grift for another year or two before he has to again kiss Trump’s anus with a friendly ruling.

In reading summaries of what was released in the Smith report regarding January 6th it struck me that virtually all of it was already known, and most of it was known shortly after it happened. This has been true of every “bombshell” that has come out about Trump from the Mueller report forward. Almost none of it has been revelatory to anyone with a brain who has been paying attention. And watching Cannon do everything besides pull a gun on DOJ lawyers, all I can think is that I read that Trump will have personally nominated almost half of all federal judges by the end of this upcoming term.
WE are just standing around while the stupidest and most vile among us are allowed to pour sand in the gears of this country - sand that will last for generations.
I miss Ralph and I miss Pluckyinky. I hope they have found something good to help distract them from this daily nightmare.

Smith and his team – like the prosecutors, investigators, and judges in all the Trump cases – have already paid a personal price no one should have to pay.
On the plus side, the kooks took literals shot at Trump.
