One of the things that is crucial to success in Trumpworld is to never have a slip of the tongue that reveals the truth. Mulvaney failed miserably in this. He’s toast and Trump will have to reach even further down into the muck of his swamp to find someone even dumber and more craven.

It is Trump’s willingness to turn on anyone, no matter how loyal they have been to him, that will lead to his ultimate downfall. The man has no friends because, as a narcissist, he does not actually grasp the meaning of the word. In the end, the only people defending him will be those who don’t know him or those who are trying to defend their own actions by extension.

His emotional age is probably between 2-5. His treatment of everyone is very juvenile/adolescent. And the general vibe he gives off is that of a senior/elderly, ignorant-but-know-it-all, “spinster-ish” great aunt that everyone in the family tolerates because it’s only once a year and they feel kind of sorry that she never found love and quit smoking too late to avoid getting that growly voice register, but still, everyone tries to avoid her, and all the little ones are reminded to just be polite…
