Did you misspell that last word? Shouldn’t it be Hannity?
Of course not…The Dim One can’t read. As for writing, he is limited to making scratch marks with a sharpie.
The only way Trump prevails is if he destroys Civilization as we know it.
I am serious on this.
The reason that the GOP is still on board with this madman is because compromised people tend to cower in their rooms (in the GOP Senators’ case, their fearful minds) quavering in fright and hoping something happens (in their minds, totally OUT of their power) to save them.
I am reminded of the man in the film “And Justice for All”…Al Pacino, playing a beleaguered lawyer, had to talk a client of his from a standoff with police. The man knew he was doomed but his words to Pacino were thus:
“I am going to sit RIGHT HERE!! I don’t have to DO ANYTHING!!” And he didn’t.
Until he did.
But ‘where’ is the emoluments issue in this? Now the idea if he did it ‘when’ he was still President I don’t think would be an emoluments issue either; it’s not like he can rewrite copywrite law or something.
It’s like Bill Clinton liked McDonald’s; they got a lot of free advertising out of him liking McDonald’s. Hmm. Maybe that’s a bad analogy, because Trump likes McDonald’s. OK got it: if Trump suddenly said 'I want free McDonald’s for life because they are making money off me liking McDonald’s. THAT is an emoluments issue. But BC liking McDonald’s, eating McDonald’s, is free advertisement BUT he never asked and they never offered free McDonald’s for life. There. THAT’s the analogy I want.
Is somebody bringing this up to him like daily or something? NOBODY talks about Obama’s book deal or the Netflix deal. Well, is somebody on some ‘network’ talking about it all the time?
This is so confusing. Next thing he’ll be complaining that designers loaned/gave free clothes to Michelle Obama so she would wear them and bring them publicity. (Of course Ivanka is a walking billboard and Melania (I do not think) is wearing people but nobody is running around saying Melania is wear FILL IN THE BLANK because nobody cares. I never see anybody discuss anything except the I Don’t Care jacket. Oh, I’m just TROLLING the press. Bitch.)
Given the post just above yours… I read this and thought you were talking about the Aussies. I was kind of surprised that they weren’t smart enough, then figured out who you were actually talking about. I expected more out of the dogs.
Why would Trump be so insanely obsessed with attacking Obama ?
1.) He hates Obama - on a gut vicious racist level - just cannot, will not ever accept that there was a Black Commander in Chief - can’t ever let it go … can’t accept the man’s superior intellect, communication skills, popularity
2.) He chooses to opportunistically capitalize on the wild-crazy racist hatred in his base - which shares his same racist hatred - and reacts in a visceral way to racist attacks on Obama - they frankly get off on it in an ugly euphoric way … If you look at the 60 million votes that he got … then depending on how you analyze it - kinda figure that there are approximately 20-30 million who truly would remain ardently in support of Trump - even if he proposed concentration camps and the mas extermination of blacks, jews and immigrants - in fact - their support might be even stronger - and of that 20-30 million hate crazed loons - he might lose support from only 1-2 million - that seems to be the intensity of Trump’s toxic hateful base. So Trump has this to motivate him to regularly toss out a big steaming bowl of hate-soup to his rabid base. Trump has to regularly nourish this base - if he does not … they will see him as inadequately hateful lose the intensity of their interest and their support at the polls will languish.
3.) the impediment to ultimate control … Trump wants Obama destroyed … by any means necessary … if Trump breaks the system to the point where past rules are disregarded - where election process / procedures are rendered inapplicable … and control of the nation becomes a very amorphous and unchartered territory … if there was massive civil unrest - and “leading” the country was more of a fluid & dynamic issue that was not following past rules and precedent and protocol … who would also suddenly be back in the game ? Who’s popularity, oratory skills, superior intellect , and reputation would Trump fear most if things were teetering on anarchy ? Right now it is absolutely Obama …
Those are beautiful puppies.
What’s your address? Might drop by and borrow them for, ummmm, a few years.
i don’t think TRUMPf gives a flying eff about anything that does not involve his ‘money’…he does not really care about anything other than himself and his interests. you can see that in how he changes his story and lies about whatever he is asked…he will say what he thinks his ‘audience’ wants to hear, at any given time.
you nailed it… TRUMPf hates POTUS OBAMA. he cannot bear that thought that OBAMA once sat at the very desk he does, was and is still respected by hundreds of thousands,world-wide, and that OBAMA’s books will be read in classrooms…while TRUMPfs books usually end up on the remainder table…priced at .69 cents. i have seen the hatred of POTUS OBAMA up close…from a family member ,it is scarey…they no longer are allowed at family gatherings.
I bet Judith Regan or whoever it is who publishes Anne Coulter-type books will give him a contract for $1M ‘more’ than Obama got.
Ha!
Exactly - Trump is desperately playing to the buzzed drunk at the end of the bar - the kind of person who spews out inane ugly crap - who thinks civil rights protestors “should be shot in the F’in head” … who has a decidedly very limited vocabulary - but amazingly knows 27 vile racist names for people of color. The kind of person who will tell you that they can judge a person’s character & integrity just by looking at their face.
Nope, his mind is actually and really melting to the point where he’s not capable of the thought process involved in distracting. Dementia is a result of actual changes in the brain.
A person with dementia can have a difficult time planning even the simplest of tasks. They become confused and disoriented when they cannot comprehend what is happening in their surroundings (why he hates to leave for meetings in other countries, and why he does so badly there). They can’t process stimuli as quickly as a normal brain. They are irritable, lose the ability to concentrate, and suffer from delusional thinking - memory and judgement are impaired and insomnia is likely. Also dimming of vision (add that to his problems with reading and you get his inability to follow the script). Watch how he squints, another common sign.
I’m not just listing all the symptoms he displays, you need to put the dementia first in any discussion of why he does anything that he does. If his actions involve any level of thought, they are being controlled by someone else. His speeches are all repeats of his favorites, it’s called “over-learning”. Any distraction is not trump distracting us (although it happens) but someone else distracting him. It’s the equivalent of one first grader telling Jill that Mary said she was fat and ugly and stupid. For the lest of the day that is all Jill will think and talk about. You can’t do that to a thinking adult. (I did say “thinking”).
lol, i heard that someone put up a poster of POTUS OBAMA wind surfing while vacationing at Bransom’s resort in the Islands…some think IVANKA did it.
I often think there should be an ongoing deafening drumbeat aimed at Trump - and that he cannot escape - one that constantly harps on his greatest inadequacies - his most dramatically fraudulent elements of his fake persona - - essentially boiling down to a an incessant chanting in his head that equates to "They know I’m a fraud - they are saying I’m a fraud - they all know I’m impotent "
Trump’s ferocious brazen demeanor is only a bully’s futile attempt to shield his gross feelings of awareness of his inadequacy and incompetence.
You are right about Trump.
Through his accomplishments and his example, President Barack Obama has already left his mark as one of the greatest American presidents, and he will leave a legacy that will last throughout this nation’s history.
And President Obama will be remembered as a man who stepped into the White House at a time of unprecedented crises – two wars spinning out of control, the world’s leading terrorist eluding capture, a skyrocketing national deficit, millions of people losing their jobs and their homes, and an enveloping worldwide financial and economic collapse – .and went about repairing our cratering economy and ending combat operations in two countries, despite unrelenting opposition from half of the Congress and half the populace.
He saved this country from a depression, restored the strength and stability of our financial system, rescued two automakers from insolvency, regulated the healthcare and banking industries, provided healthcare coverage to 20 million people, presided over the creation of 16 million jobs, extended the life of Medicare, boosted our energy independence, championed renewable energy and climate change remedies, repaired relations with our allies and restored our prestige on the world’s stage, and eliminated the threat of an Iranian nuclear weapon.
Along the way, he reduced our nation’s deficit by more than two-thirds.
In 50 years his impact on generations of people will be undeniable: as a gentle, caring, brilliant and determined man of courage and integrity who sought to fulfill the promise of America, widen the circle of opportunity for all people, keep hope alive among the disaffected and downtrodden, inspire others to work for meaningful and lasting change, and truly help form a “more perfect union.”
And in a time of enormous crisis in this nation, and this world, we were extremely fortunate that this man has chosen to put himself in the breach, to stand in the gap, and to be a champion against the spirit of cynicism, hopelessness and despair, and to withstand the pettiness, the unthinking opposition, and the virulent hatred of his detractors and opponents with such grace and good will as he set about to repair a nation whose soul had been broken.
In the coming years, we will see statues erected in his likeness, streets and government buildings named after him, and thousands of children of all races, religions and ethnicities around the world named “Barack Obama” in honor of this truly historic figure.
There will be an Obama Institute established at a prestigious university, endowed Obama Chairs and Fellows, and a generation of leaders prepared and dedicated to furthering his work and advancing on the progress that he made.
We will also remember him like this – as a man of modest background and generous spirit who, despite the immense power and authority of his office and the historic nature of his mission, could be able to treat the most marginalized and disenfranchised citizens as valued and esteemed constituents and the poorest nations as equal partners.
But 50 years of history won’t be as kind to Trump.
My assessment: 50 days after they gratefully dump the final shovelfuls of dirt on the gilded box stuffed with his bloated, stinking, rotting carcass, he will be betrayed and denounced by his former allies, accomplices and fellow travelers, ruefully forgotten and scarcely missed.
His name will be a curse, his image a baneful reminder of moral atrocities, his story a cautionary tale.
Agree 100%
He is such a pathetic figure. This is how it ends for him and his party, a tortuous slide into humiliation, moral degeneration and complete failure.
Oh kay, so what is it that Obama did wrong again? Oh yeah, won the Nobel Peace Prize and is a beloved former President.
Jealosy rears its ugly head.
Poor donnie, the world isn’t bowing down to his greatness… boo hoo.
Kindly I will assume that this post is meant not just for me but others here who may need some ahem 'splaining about dementia. Myself, I’ve already dealt with it in my own family, and frankly, I know shit from Shinola my friend. And I think it’s terrifying that a raving sociopath is running our country with the gleeful help of one of our two major political parties. But what really galls me is how people don’t know how to parse a guy like Trump. Of course you know about PT Barnum. He did crazy things, crashed and burned, and then rose like a phoenix to fake out the public again and again. And the rubes loved it. Americans love tricks and they loved to be tricked. He’s may be demented, but he’s not demented in the way you wish him to be. For almost four years I’ve been reading commentary about how he’s ‘losing it’. Nope. Dementia is progressive and WE are the ones the Trump administration are working on. Don’t be fooled. Our confusion supports the dictatorship.
