Trump Kicks Off Week Suggesting House Judiciary Probe Obama Book, Netflix Deals

It gets worse - apparently they’re paying their suppliers, on time, and the full amount owed. Who ever does that!?!

Kushner. I can’t explain my feelings on the matter, but I want to see that man cry in public in the worst kind of way. Fucking weasel.

Schadenfreude to the max! Dobbs probably saw a raging, red-faced Trump screaming that everyone is out to get him (true!). He then calmed Trumpyboy down and promised to lie through his teeth to the press that all is well in the WH.

Seems? I really don’t thing there’s any question there. LOL.

What I don’t get was that it was a straight-forward reported-at-the-time fully disclosed DEAL for the book and then the Netflix show.

What is there to investigate? I don’t get it. I never got it. Is it just straight up jealousy about an $80M contract? Is that it?

What is the issue? WHAT IS THE ISSUE? I keep going over this again and again and I just do not see an issue. IF there is a Trump Fan here or somebody plugged into that world PLEASE explain to me WHAT IS THE ISSUE.

Damn, we’re old. An accordion tickle file used to be my best friend in my youth (mostly for work, but birthday reminders, too).

The real thick ones are a good place to keep lone socks while you’re waiting for the mate to show up.

LOL. When I was a teen, I used lone socks for other purposes.

Right now when a sock goes missing I assume it’s working its way through the digestive system of one of two Australian Shepherds.

given the speed at which Schiff is reacting (document subpoena issued Friday, due date tuesday, non-compliance resulting in a committee subpoena issued Wed to appear at an open hearing Thursday), there is a good chance that he is actually taking this seriously.

If that is the case, given the grave potential national security implications, Schiff could go straight to the Supreme Court for an extraordinary writ of mandamus (i.e. a court order compelling an official to do his/her job).

Its important to note that it doesn’t matter how serious of a national security issue this is – all the court should consider is the precedent that will be set if the executive branch is allowed to cover up credible accusations of wrong-doing.

This ^^^^^

If you are going to demand an investigation, you have to specify the potential violations / conflicts / wrong doings that might have been committed.

What doesn’t anybody in the media ask about this?

OMG, they are so sweet looking … whether that’s true or not? Beautiful, just beautiful.

I think the recognition that Trump, unlike Obama, will not be treated to widespread acclaim and admiration at the end of his term, but endless recriminations, tell-all books from his former advisors, and possibly investigations and prosecutions.

I was in my agency’s Houston office for a week. They happened to have a crawdad / catfish fry while I was there, and the older ladies taught me how to eat crawdads the right way. They had to roll me out of there at the end. Did the same thing when work sent me to LA for the week with a family sized tin of steamed shrimp. Colorado is amazing… but we’re not known for seafood, so I practice gluttony any chance I get at the coasts.

In the last 32 years I have had six Aussies, Blue Merles , Red Merles, one Tri, and one Red Tri. One liked to walk around the house with my socks in his mouth. What great dogs.
