Claire McCaskill went off on Lindsey Graham this morning on MSNBC
“I don’t think humiliation is a strong enough word,” McCaskill said on Wednesday’s “Morning Joe” while discussing Graham’s rally appearance in South Carolina on Saturday.
But “the humiliation here is not what the crowd did, it’s what Donald Trump did,” added the former senator, a political analyst for MSNBC and NBC.
Trump treated Graham “like he was a piece of dirt under his shoe,” said McCaskill.

McCaskill sent a direct message to Graham during her TV appearance.
“Lindsey, it’s not working,” she said. “You cannot put aside your convictions and your character to support this man. It will not work.”
“So, Lindsey, find yourself in this moment. Use this as a teaching moment,” McCaskill added.” You need to be Lindsey, not some embarrassing sycophant that is attached yourself like a leech to the side of this man, I would say to the backside of this man.”
I was astounded by this quote from the WP article:
“The deep state planted a seed of suppression of government censorship, but that seed was fertilized, germinated and grew rapidly once President Biden took office,” Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey said in an interview with The Washington Post before the decision.
A state attorney general casually referencing the ‘Deep State’ is really scary. Pundits muse about the how the GOP can return to sanity, but it is still in the process of steadily getting worse!
Here in Missouri we really need to apologize for the last three MO AGs. The first was Hawley, the second was Schmitt, and now the appointed MO AG Bailey. They just keep getting worse.
“The Biden administration’s effort to revitalize U.S. manufacturing shows more signs of succeeding, with soaring construction of manufacturing facilities serving as an early indicator of success in revamping the underlying financial equation for manufacturers.”
Or, as Fox News and Donald Trump would interpret it, we’re surely on the precipice of total economic collapse.
Nope…not the social democrats. The corporate Wall Street centrist triangulating Democrats are responsible for the breakdown of the Blue Wall.
Putting it all on the Bernie Bros, although some of the blame goes to them, ignores the fact that it was the Wall Street Dems who should get their fare share of the blame. Mook ran a crap campaign. Not Bernie.
Also too…Ronnie was right about the 11th commandment: “thou shalt not shade your own party members” applies here. It’s nothing but aid and comfort to the Magats when folks do that.
I’m old enough to remember when conservatives used to claim they opposed “activist” judges. Oh wait, that’s right, “activist” always meant “a judge whose views I disagree with.”
Matches with the recent SCOTUS case where a fake request for a gay marriage website to a lady who doesn’t even make wedding websites led bringing back the logic of Plessy v Ferguson’s ‘separate but equal’.
Conservative jurisprudence is to make up the facts to fit your desired outcome.
