President Trump says he was just kidding about that border wall in Colorado he confidently touted during an energy conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Wednesday afternoon.

Trump is not a kidder. He is a sneerer

Why do I not find anything Trump says as funny, amusing, or laughable? Is it because he doesn’t respect the job he agreed to do? Is it because he refuses to do the bare minimum of the job he agreed to do? Is because his ignorance is as big as his mass?

Somehow he’s always “kidding” hours after he says something mind-bendingly wrong. Astounding we just don’t recognize his sense of humor.

The essence of humor is that it actually has to be funny. There is nothing remotely funny about Trump’s border cruelty and illegal seizure of funds to build his wall.

OK sure you were making a fonny fonny joke saying you’re building a wall in Colorado, and that hurricane really was threatening Illinois or wherever, and covfefe is a word and “refered” is a word and you’re not an ignorant lummox because why would anyone think that. Sure, pal, whatever.

Your reasons are good ones but I’d like to add he’s not funny, even when he’s trying to be, which he wasn’t. For a moment he thought Colorado was a border state so he blurted out that we’re building a wall there because a lot of things just drift through his head but the thought “Gee, maybe I’m wrong?” is never one of them.

refered [sic] to people in the very packed auditorium, from Colorado & Kansas,

A huge number of people, many, many people, traveled from Colorado to Pittsburgh to hear him speak.

Serial gaslighting. Like if Charles Boyer controlled the gas supply to all the lights in the US and we were all forced to endure the flickering each and every night, and the media was banned from mentioning it.

It allows the “stable genius” to say he is never wrong, simple as that.

Yeah, riiiiight.
Asshole.

You made a mistake. A forgivable one if you admit it and correct it. Your daddy is dead now. So, it’s OK. Really.

Its west. Where he has no hotels. So to him, all of that is “on the border”.

Nor was it a joke. He first mentioned New Mexico, which he claimed he is going to win in 2020. He then listed Colorado, and went into some detail about the “wall”, then moved on to listing Texas, finishing up with Kansas, which he did indicate won’t be getting a wall, but will benefit from the wall being built in the other places he listed. There was no trademark smirk, no pause for laughter, no change in that dull monotone he uses when reading.

Pretty sure the media occasionally mention it.

Except he was in Pittsburgh!

That’s exactly what happened. Anyone with any questions about it should go watch video of it. He wasn’t smirking, rolling his eyes, gesticulating, or all the other obnoxious shit he does when he’s signaling he’s attempting humor. It was one of the more tame and subdued aspects of the speech and no one laughed as if it might be a joke. He’s a fucking moron and he probably saw the video of Don Lemon damn near falling out of his chair laughing at him, so he tried to clean it up by pretending he was kidding.

The wife and I were talking about that last night. Is he really so ignorant that he thinks Colorado is a border state, or are his cognitive abilities so impaired that he simply inserted the first state name that came to mind in his stream of conscientious rambling? Neither one is comforting.

Then he unzipped his pants, urinated on the stage and demanded pudding at every meal.

Granted, though if the headline doesn’t contain the word “imbecility” (or “dementia”) I am not sure that we are talking about the same flickering.

I think the Dems ought to go ahead and green light, with lots of fanfare, all wall-building along the Mexico-Colorado border.
