Trump does show a way to hammer these guys as gutless hypocrites. Ds should be doing the same. Ask them a simple question that is easy to answer as ‘yes’ or ‘no’, then let them squirm on TV. Rinse and repeat. Most people don’t like someone that can’t answer a simple question, it will help to focus everyone on their weaknesses for all, to see.

Credit where due: Trump’s right to say that people shouldn’t dance around this question.
That said, Trump was booed, by his own supporters, for encouraging people to get vaccinated/boosted. DeSantis et al. know which side their political bread is buttered on, at least on this issue. Unfortunately for their own supporters, and for the rest of us.

I can’t think of a better example of Trump being Trump than this. He said it in front of his fans and got booed - therefore, everyone must say it and if they don’t they are gutless. Because, you know, if Trump did it it must be the brave thing to do.
May I live long enough to see entire days go by in which nobody mentions Trump. Better - may I just outlive him.

It has to be hard to be a Trump flunky. Somebody like Ron DeSantis can get whiplash trying to toe the Trump line.
The thing we need to remember is DeSantis has presidential aspirations. Trump has to kill those dreams so he has a clear path to 2024.
