In the midst of an impeachment inquiry that’s about to enter its public phase, President Trump somehow managed to make another dubious claim that has nothing to do with it.
The President then went on to claim that his daughter has created 14 million jobs without citing where he got that specific figure from.
“She has now created 14 million jobs and they are being trained by these great companies, the greatest companies in the world because the government cannot train them,” Trump said. “It’s a great thing.”
That’s some pretty impressive tiny-hand-waving… Why not make it 14 BILLION while you’re at it?

These were pledges of job-creation by companies seeking to appease Ivanka. They didn’t say where those jobs would be - maybe in China, making clothes for Ivanka’s brand. And of course, these pledges have the same possibility of coming to fruition as a pledge by Trump to donate to a charity. In other words, bupkis.
ETA: On another site, someone said that he has encouraged everyone to open a lemonade stand. So, he figures he’s created at least 100 million jobs.

After a claim like this, and his oft-repeated lie that Obama’s job numbers and unemployment numbers were made up and fake (project much?), and as sycophantic as all his Cabinet members and agency appointees are … does anyone believe anything we’ve heard from the Department of Labor the past 2 1/2 years, any of the data, any of the numbers?
Why does he even bother with words? His supporters would clap loudly if he said

Last week, Ivanka Trump said in an interview that, unlike her father, she finds the identity of the whistleblower whose complaint sparked the impeachment inquiry “not particularly relevant.
Please. just. stop. Ivanka pines for a scenario in which the whistleblower’s identity is kept secret while having their motivations questioned (i.e., savaged), facts be damned on the accuracy of their report. Stop enabling the grifters to spin their bullshit narratives for the masses. They pay entire staffs handsomely to do that for them.
It’s the thought that counts.
I could swear he said he added $10 trillion of value to the economy. Now I’ll never be invited to join any economics clubs but somehow that number sounds a little high to me.
