Doubling down on his earlier Oval Office comments, Trump asserted on Wednesday that American Jews who vote for Democrats are “being very disloyal to Jewish people” and “to Israel.”
Leaving aside the crass racism and antisemitism, the utter corruption of notions of patriotism and politics and citizenship, the idea that Donald J. Trump would ever presume to lecture someone else on their loyalty or lack thereof is surreal.
He might as well stand at the finish line of an ultramarathon and berate the runners for being lazy quitters.
Since we want to ensure the loyalty of the American Jewish population to Israel, perhaps we should remove the option of dual citizenship and force them to choose one or the other.
That does it! Trump’s (as always) sophisticated and nuanced argument has convinced me.
I can’t support the same blood-sucking cabal that welcomes anti-Semites like Shumate, Schiff, Levin, Sanders, Nadler, Cardin, Cicilone, Yarmuth, Bennet, Schatz, Raskin and Slotkin with open arms.
I’m switching to the party that lays blame for the Holocaust where it squarely belongs — at George Soros’ feet. I’m switching to the party of Steve King and Sebastian Gorka because those kinds of people have always been friends of the Jews. I’m voting for the party that’s stopped all those namby-pampy hate crime prosecutions: Everybody knows that liberal Democrats (who are the devil’s spawn) are the only ones left who are filled with hate!
There may be very fine people marching with the Nazis. But there are NO fine people in the Democrat Party. You can’t argue with that logic.
