It was Election Day 2012, and even before the polls closed, Donald Trump had something he wanted his followers to know about the outcome of the election: A conspiracy was afoot to rob Republicans of victory.
As outlandish as the claims of cyber intrusion may seem, Trump appears set to continue to press them as his case heads to trial. It’s as much a rhetorical defense as it is a courtroomcartoon strategy.
This is all about delay. Imagine how long they would need to depose the thousands of deep staters who conspired to rob Trump of his rightful second term? It would take until 2028 at least!
No, you are not. I am expecting his next “defense” is to admit that foreign-backed cyber vote “switching” happened in 2016 that helped him win, so that is “proof” that it could have happened against him in 2020.
We are very close to the “killing your parents, then pleading mercy as an orphan” levels of hypocrisy with Trump.
From the dictionary:
If you brainwash someone, you force them to believe something by continually telling them that it is true, and preventing them from thinking about it properly . They brainwash people into giving up their money.
