There is absolutely no evidence that COVID19 was engineered. Any changes like that relative to other naturally occurring viruses would stand out like a sore thumb. The evolutionary analyses indicate a stepwise change in the viral sequences leading up to COVID19, which means that it occurred naturally and was given an opportunity to infect humans, which it did. Claiming it was engineered takes support away from the need to monitor wild viruses, in which the US was involved until Trump killed the program.

Trump is TELLING YOU that he is going to unleash the full power of the DOJ against all of his “Enemies” to make sure he gets re-elected.
This is not only a promise to this supporters, it is a threat to his “Enemies”.
Expect the DOJ to announce “investigations” into Biden, Obama, Rice, and, of course, Hillary in the next few months, all for the MSM to lap up and run with.
In the apocryphal story of LBJ when he was running a congressional campaign in Texas and had a tough opponent to beat, he supposedly told his aids to start a whisper campaign alleging his opponent liked to fuck pigs. His appalled aids confronted him on it and said;“Sir, you can’t actually be serious that your opponent is a Pig-Fucker?!”
LBJ then is said to have replied: “Of course not. I just want to see him have to deny it on TV!”

As I wrote in another thread, its hard to believe that the majority in this country cannot do more to ensure a fair election. Is there a national figure (Obama, looking at you) to mobilize this effort? I realize this is all unprecedented (or at least the scale), but our powerlessness is extremely troubling and scary of course.

I have a sense that when one criticizes a nationality, one takes a risk.
The fact is, there is no country better prepared to vote out a would-be dictator than this one.

- a working constitution
And a host of other advantages.
But when I see that Nate Silver has Trump at 51/43 Disapprove/Approve, instead of what it should be: 60/34 Disapprove/Approve (in light of what he has done to this country), I am prepared to start criticizing the people who actually answer the polls.
If Trump was at 60/34 D/A, he would be thinking in a vastly different set of realities than now.
The difference between 51/43 and 60/34 resides in distracted, pressed-upon and otherwise alienated people who will suffer the same fate we will should Trump be re-elected.

This is the obsession of a guilty-minded madman. Let’s not talk about tactics and strategies. He’s sick and getting sicker, and they can’t hide it and really never could. He’s a hair’s breadth away from yelling about how the bugaboos of his paranoia need to go to jail, how Comey, McCabe, Clapper, Brennan, Strzok, Page, Biden, Clinton, Obama, Seth Meyers, everyone who ever insulted or derided him is a traitor and a loser and a criminal. It’s like any other sickness, you can be in denial about it if you want to be, but that gets harder and harder and eventually you can see the truth, no matter how much you don’t want to. He’s had a hell of a good run, but you can’t go on forever talking about injecting people with disinfectant. There comes a time when people can see you’re just nuts.

I really miss seeing people smiling at each other in public venues. But if you look closely you can see in the eyes what people are feeling. A few days ago in the produce isle a woman smiled at me behind her mask and I could tell just by the way her eyes lit up and crinkled at the corners. She was a good person and I had to tell her thank you for making the effort to maintain her humanity. I relayed to her the experience I had in a Mediterranean restaurant in Portland. A young woman dressed in a full hijab was on a date with a young man near our table. Couldn’t help but notice that when he spoke to her how her eyes would light up and crinkle at the corners. She was so enamored of him. She had to pull her face covering away to eat each bite then refocused on her date. It was beautiful to be able to see the affection in spite of the face covering.
