President Donald Trump suggested early Monday morning that Dr. Anthony Fauci, a prominent member of the White House’s COVID-19 task force, will be on the chopping block after Election Day on Tuesday.

Not if we fire you first.

That would be the least surprising news after the election.

He needs the vacation. He’ll be plenty busy when Biden brings him back on.

Of course he’s going to fire him. He’s going to fire everyone who he has deemed wronged him, which is a list a mile long. Win or lose, he’ll at least attempt to fire a third of the gov’t workforce.
I suspect Biden will simply rehire him.

A public health official making a claim about public health is “playing politics”. Gotta love the GOP playbook and their buzz words. Somehow this is effective messaging on large swaths of the country. Sad

Make Ivanka his “Acting” replacement. One last grift before you’re gone.
(The country will thank you, sir.)

his supporters began chanting “Fire Fauci!” after the President complained for the umpteenth time about the media covering the pandemic. Trump allowed the chants to continue for over 10 seconds before they petered out.

“Don’t tell anybody, but let me wait til a little bit after the election,” he said. “I appreciate the advice.” The comment was met with loud cheers from the crowd.

Looks like sheer insanity – but historically, all sorts of mobs have worked this way.

Human nature does tend to reward Ruthless with Stupid.

As human beings, we’re stuck with it unless we find more ways to reduce Stupid.

Such a weenie. I dare him to do it today.

You have to wonder about a crowd that does not immediately ask this question.

True to form — an asshole to the end.

Hey Donnie, where’s your big beautiful healthcare plan that fully protects people with preexisting conditions?

What a COWARD … 'after the election ’ …clearly knows that it would make his thin chances even worse if he were to do it now
Afraid … because far more people respect Fauci than Trump.

“As a member of the Task Force, Dr. Fauci has a duty to express concerns or push for a change in strategy, but he’s not done that, instead choosing to criticize the president in the media and make his political leanings known by praising the president’s opponent — exactly what the American people have come to expect from The Swamp,”

Hmmm:

A “non-scalable” fence will reportedly be installed around the White House one day before ballots are cast on Tuesday as concerns mount over potential unrest on Election Day.

Is that to keep Donnie in rather than intruders out?

Unless that fence has barbed wire on top and guard dogs waiting on protestors. I don’t think that doohickey will work.

Of course he did. Fauci just said in the wide open that current policy sucks and that Biden’s plan sounds good to him. There’s no doubt Dr. Fauci doesn’t give a rats ass about pleasing Trump. That was never his gig. He’s COVID fighter and Biden will give him the weapons and forces he needs to do that. Trump’s man just went on a Russian propaganda site talking up policy that will divide and kill Americans. Just what Putin’s RT wanted to hear.

Not sure what to think about that.

Is Trump already implementing a “declaration of victory” and move on to war on democracy?
“Contest is over … I won again” …

I may be mistaken, but I don’t believe Fat Nixon is even in a position to “fire” Dr. Fauci from a legal standpoint. Not under his chain of command, so to speak…
