President Donald Trump is pushing ahead with an appearance at a White House gathering on Saturday, even though he has not yet publicly announced a negative test for coronavirus which CDC officials have said is a definitive benchmark for determining whether a person who contracted COVID-19 is still contagious.
He’ll never confirm he’s still a disease vector because “it makes him look weak.” Besides, why admit you’re contagious when you can just apply more spray tan, maybe put some extra lifts in your shoes.
Has he ever had a negative test? Seriously, it’s quite possible that the test he had last Thursday, at which point he was obviously symptomatic, was his first. Many people are saying that. Someone should look into it, believe me…
I think I may be speaking for the rest of the country when I ask this question: what is keeping them from just lying about the test? I can’t believe that he hasn’t just ordered them to lie about it. He can say “I tested negative yesterday, but you can’t see the documents because of HIPAA.” The “HIPAA” line has worked so far. They may be afraid (or hoping) that he’ll crater in the middle of a rant and they’ll have to answer for the lie. There have been so many lies from so many people that this particular lie may get lost in the hubub.
He’s desperately trying to avoid getting specific about the timing of his tests. Once the nose of the camel is under that particular tent, he will reveal having not tested negative immediately prior to the Biden debate. His testing regimen should be public information.
