Trump-Style Election Interference With such a large field of candidates and the primary less than a week away, it seems practically and logistically impossible for the Trump administration to target every single candidate in the…

If Mike Lee was a Democrat he would be forced to resign from congress by his own party.

Ranked-choice voting should be universal. It allows voters to express their full opinions of the candidates/platforms, and it frees candidates from having to go nuclear on opponents all the time. Multiple good candidates came out to speak in support of Lander yesterday, pointing out the need for solidarity as whoever wins will be thrust into a battle with the fascist federal government. Meanwhile Cuomo released a milquetoast statement from his suburban abode, probably written by an intern during a brief moment when she wasn’t being bullied or sexually harassed.

I suppose that the Appeal to Heaven flag wasn’t actually above the US flag is a small mercy.

A nagging little voice tells me it’s all we should expect of mercy from here on out.

Quoting:

"Power and corruption have always been with us, sometimes behind the scenes, and sometimes in your face.

Think of Caligula, emperor of Rome from AD 37 to AD 41. He had absolute power, and indulged in the absolute basest of desires. His wealth, acquired at the expense of others, was obscene. His appetite for sex, no matter how bizarre, was always sated. His sadistic need for entertainment was satisfied by the most gut-wrenching means of torture.

Caligula was also extremely vain and had a temple created for himself, complete with a solid gold, life-sized statue of his image.

But the emperor was obsessed with his hair problems. He was so embarrassed by his premature baldness that he made it a crime — punishable by death — for anyone to observe him from above. On the other hand, his body was carpeted with hair. So hairy was he that people compared him to a goat. Well, Caligula knew how to deal with that as well: He made it a crime — also punishable by death — for anyone to mention a hairy goat in his presence."

And they all fall for this stupid shit. Of course the report was recalled to reinterview the witness. They realized how preposterous the entire idea was. But hey, let’s repeat it, amplify, ignore facts.

“Specifically, these include allegations of plans from the CCP to manufacture fake driver’s licenses and ship them into the United States for the purpose of facilitating fraudulent mail-in ballots—allegations which, while substantiated, were abruptly recalled and never disclosed to the public,” Patel told Just the News.

Right, the Chinese are going to ship tens of millions of drivers licenses to the US using what for addresses? They have to be for registered voters. And then tens of millions of absentee ballot request will be made so they are sent to where?

But no one will see the sheer stupidity - let alone question it.

I’m starting to think that every accusation isn’t so much either confession or projection as it is a way of poisoning the well. Blame the Dems for doing something heinous we’re not doing. Then do it for real. Then start playing the “both sides do it” game.
Seems to be working.
Great photo, BTW. This morning’s bird walk was rained out.

When I see the “Appeal to Heaven,” all I can think of is this. It wouldn’t surprise me if we see this one adopted next:

No one in its target audience you mean. It was printed, it confirms my prejudices, ergo it must be true.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) deleted his three personal tweets about the Minnesota assassination spree after he was [confronted](http://brad lander) by Sen. Tina Smith (D-MN).

Any apology?

ETA. Didn’t think so.
