Google it. It’s not the first time a humans hunt humans for sport movie’s been made, but the first time one’s been based on such a premise, to my knowledge at least. It’s just kind of bizarre, both the idea and timing. If it truly is a comedy, ok, we’ll see how good it is. But if it’s made to be taken at face value, consider it it yet another step into the twilight zone.
I think that if it had to be done, something more akin to Night of the Living Dead (Conservatives) might have made more sense and been funny.
I totally get this. Everything is about Donnie. If you have ever been in a relationship with an actual narcissist, none of this is weird.
He went to all of the trouble to travel to these crappy places and say a few words, and people still say mean things about him. The most popular quote said around the WH is “They would NEVER have said this about Obama”. He will never understand people’s aversion to him because he doesn’t actually understand that there are actually other people with real lives and independent thoughts.
A narcissist can never overcome this severely limited view of the world - the ability to empathize with anyone other than themselves just doesn’t exist in their make-up. It is a severe handicap as a person, but sometimes from the outside it looks like strength and confidence.
Apparently “The Hunt” is being sold as a satire, but since it seems that they have wealthy liberals killing conservatives, I presume that it is is more of a farce.
He’s such a narcissist, he can only focus on the perceived disrespect from the media rather than ask himself why all eight hospitalized victims of the massacre refused to meet with him. If you think about it, that is really remarkable -that not one victim wanted to meet with the most powerful man in the country. He’d have been better served if blimp baby Trump had been sent instead. At least it has some soft edges and knows how to keep its mouth shut.
I always enjoy this little interpretive dance that Mags and Fat Ass perform for us every once in a while.

Have not seen a trailer and from your description I will not see this “movie” no matter who is hunting who. Sounding disgusting.
The film industry both creates and feeds on RW memes. Spitting on soldier stories were never heard until “Rambo”. “Dirty Harry” in the 70s fed off 60s memes of “liberal judges letting criminals off on technicalities”. I actually heard a detective say, “We catch 'em and the liberals let 'em off”. The technical term is horse shit. No matter that 93% of criminal defendants plead guilty.
