Congress has the power to stop all of this, but the majority is too cowardly and simpering and ‘concerned’ to do anything that would result in their being primaried and losing their cushy job. My guess is there will be turnover in midterms, but it will more likely be toward more radical, lawless Congresscritters because some districts will simply never vote for a Dem.
We need a functioning Congress. Until we get one, the damage will continue.

Mocking a major religion is on brand as if the college of cardinals would ever consider a non Catholic twice divorced felon who was found liable of sexually assaulting a woman. Not to mention his dehumanizing of the marginalized. Even me as a walked away Catholic girl sees this as sacrilegious.
