As President Donald Trump continues to moan that the Biden DOJ, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and the deep state continue to victimize him, he’s received special treatment beyond that accorded to virtually any other party to a criminal proceeding.
Cannon just rejected an Amicus brief request from former R administration officials. Supposedly the brief was to say a Special Master was not the proper move.
“Nobody else who faces the U.S. criminal justice system receives this kind of treatment.”
Ding! Ding! Ding!
How in the hell did Trump get to Judge shop like this in the first place?
They COULD wrap the Amicus Brief around a rock and throw it through Loose Cannon’s window.

It is becoming exceedingly difficult to see U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon as anything other than a shill - a Judge who is substituting her stridently conservative (a member of the Federalist Society, a conservative group, since 2005) perspective & preferred agenda - in place of what her position calls for - OBJECTIVITY and equitable adjudication…
In very simple terms - she looks to be vigorously taking a side without any pretense of adherence to the law. … she is looking kinda … corrupt…
Not a lawyer but one thing I recall seeing is that Chump’s parking lot lawyers answered the original judge’s action so poorly that they actually instigated (accidentally) a new proceeding which Loose Cannon should have shot down from day one. She not only should have shot it down, but coddled and hand-held them thru the process to the point where she helped them bootstrap their way into the mess we have now. Not sure if she did all that with cunning and foresight, or only thru her RW Ratfugger’s instincts for trying to help Chump and muck up the real process he was already caught in. We’re so far off the true path now we may never get back to solid footing.
He no doubt banked more than one of these sleeper agents as he scarpered.
As the need arises, I’m sure we’ll see more of them activated.

No kidding. And yet destroying people’s confidence in our government has been a long expressed goal of the fascists. They absolutely want our system of government to collapse because they feel their own personal interests are best served by screwing the entire country and reserving political power permanently and exclusively to themselves.
No it’s all perfectly appropriate you see. Rump is the first POTUS with a professional wrestling background, and the rightist judges he appointed are playing exactly that role. A professional wrestling referee. Just one more cast member actively performing what ever role is needed to make the pre scripted outcome look real.
