You can just see the tRump brain working here… If we can keep more brown people out the number of mass shootings will have to go down… genius

We’ll see how the Democrats respond.

Sometimes he’s just so freaking lame.

Oh goodie, he says, a chance to get that loose end squared away so I can campaign on it. The Art of the Deal with the Devil. Just staggering.

Oh FFS this is bothsidesism at its worst. This has the hoofprints of Stephen Miller all over this: “let’s give them some kind of bs background check talk while we push policy in line with the shooters’ point of view, you know, ‘right ideas, wrong methods,’ ‘we need to understand the grievances of these troubled men,’ etc.”

Should be simple. The House has already passed bills on both. All they have to do is point to those and say ask #MoscowMitch.

One has nothing to do with the other. But that’s how these fucks work, right? Maybe legislation requiring the Prevaricator of The United States to keep his fucking mouth shut as long he is in office might help.

How about we add this to the articles of impeachment, instead?

““How do you stop these people? You can’t,” Trump lamented at a May rally in Panama City Beach, Fla. Someone in the crowd yelled back one idea: “Shoot them.””

Museum quality example of the Trump two-step: everyone needs to come together so the victims of his racist incitement didn’t die in vain. And in related gaslighting: the media made him do it!

The Media has a big responsibility to life and safety in our Country. Fake News has contributed greatly to the anger and rage that has built up over many years. News coverage has got to start being fair, balanced and unbiased, or these terrible problems will only get worse!

I know we’re numb to this sort of thing with Trump, but that is maybe the most disgusting response to a tragedy ever to come from the President of the United States.

Shorter Trump: If you give me my racist wall, I’ll call off my white supremacist terrorists.

Presidents Cheney and Rumsfeld invaded Iraq in response to what Al Qaeda did.

They slaughtered hundreds of thousands of innocent people.

They have been.

Personally, I don’t think the House bill goes far enough on gun control, but at least it’s something they can point to.

It wasn’t exactly a direct response, but I understand your point.

No. A thousand times no. Giving the white supremacist hostage-taker what he wants in exchange for keeping our neighbors safe would be a horrible bargain.

Bring up each issue independently and let each be discussed on their own merits.

what a great idea! tying together immigration and gun control, two of the more complex issues we face. sounds like a recipe for getting nothing fucking done on either.
