The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) says it has reached an agreement on the terms of a $10 billion loan from the Department of Treasury, “should the need arise.”
The up to $10 billion loan authorized by the March CARES Act will allow USPS access to the money if it determines “it will not be able to fund operating expenses without borrowing money” because of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a Treasury Department release.
“While the USPS is able to fund its operating expenses without additional borrowing at this time, we are pleased to have reached an agreement on the material terms and conditions of a loan, should the need arise,” Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said in a release.

Really good, humorous counter-narratives must be developed and promulgated such that even Fox News will have to run them.
Perhaps some of the most famous people should be brought in to make these short statements, including Barrack Obama.
What to say? Some really good writers need to think about it, but it needs to convey the will of the people shall not be stopped, etc.: How about “Neither snow, nor sleet, nor dark of night, shall stop the mailperson from their appointed rounds; and that includes your vote.”

Most of what he tweets is total garbage and doesn’t deserve further oxygen. However, this one I’d like to see Senators pressed on.
Senator Grassley, Ernst, Concerned Collins, do you agree with the President’s suggestion that the election be postponed? Spin your way out of that one.

O/T but good news in NC. The latest poll has Cal Cunningham up 9 points on Tillis and Biden up by 7 points. NC is a bellwether of sorts in that if he loses here, he is going to lose in all or most of the other swing states and the Senate seat is a critical one for getting control of the Senate. He hears the train coming and he just can’t get off the track.
