President Donald Trump made his displeasure toward his hand-picked intelligence community inspector general known on Wednesday after the first public hearing in the impeachment investigation wrapped up.
“I want to find out why the IG, why would he have presented that when in fact all he had to do was check the call itself, and he would have seen it,” Trump said.
That call record the White House released confirms the whistleblower’s accusation of Trump’s crime.
Of course, Trump knows that.
He’s just playing the Big Lie game, repeating it over and over, suckling his toothless base at Fox’s teat.
“I want to find out why the IG, why would he have presented that when in fact all he had to do was check the call itself, and he would have seen it,” Trump said.
The Ginger Git appears to forget the call was stored on a secure server that the IG probably had no access to. Not that the IG could “check” a call he did not know existed before the Whistleblower complaint was filed in the first place.
Is Trump seriously asking why the IG didn’t just check the “transcript” of the call that they had moved to a super secret server for the sole purpose of hiding it from anyone who may want to review it? Also, the “transcript” is incriminating.
Yup. Key takeaway, but also warning. That this is Trump’s response should send chills down republican’s spines. If he is not removed, he will do even crazier stuff, and they will own it all…
I’m not sure he does know. Trump seems to have convinced himself that the “transcript” somehow exonerates him. The man is delusional, and that’s a scary thought.
Oh, Donald, if you’d only stayed at the top of your golden escalator, you’d just be a regular old billionaire-clown. None of this awful “rule of law” stuff would be happening to you. You could have just sat high in your tower and munched on your cheeseberders as a private citizen.
