Yep, brute power is whatever you can get away with. Laws mean nothing unless a critical mass of people and institutions wielding enough persuasive and/or physical power agrees to uphold them. This country has fallen below that threshold. When we will hit bottom, if ever, remains to be seen.

And Democrats need to start making and airing ads, web, social media, and whatever people watch. Meanwhile, all these people who were illegally “fired” should keep reporting for work and telling their staff (and the political officers/commissars) that the Convict in Chief doesn’t have the power to just fire them without due process.

There’s certainly no definitive statements in reporting on whether Trump’s actions are illegal or violates laws. The tepid may-haves; appears-to-have or the NYT’s rhetorical “Can he do. . .” is amazing to watch, in a bad way.

My point in posting this is that Biden knew how to do this and he did it under the radar, and the payoff is coming. Trump trying to blast email judiciary staff REALLY pissed off the courts.
