Do I infer correctly that Cornyn and Paxton are so statistically similar that the choice between them is a coin-flip? I’m usually quicker on the uptake.
Very similar in overall repulsive oiliness, but each in different ways.

Paxton has committed numerous felonies, such as insider trading and abusing his office. He has previously asked Trump for pardons, so he’s obviously concerned that being out of office may allow the law to finally catch up. He punches down and panders to the base in the types of lawsuits the AG office brings and he protects his friends corruptly.
Cornyn comes across as a “moderate” by the way he carries himself. Kind of passive, but stands behind republican alphas so you know he’s also a “big deal”. But he’s not a moderate at all. In his recent ads, he boasts that he has “voted with Trump 99% of the time.” I guess that 1% is supposed to imply an independent streak.
So, to recap, both are awful for different reasons, and will probably vote identically if elected. So, that’s the coin-toss.
