If you’ve been following the ICE detention centers story, you know about Social Circle, Georgia. Small town in a very red county that’s fighting againts one of the proposed prison camps. The population of the camp would would be much, much larger than the town itself, but would depend on the town for water, sewage, and other services. The city council has passed an ordinance denying access to water they can’t possibly supply. These are Trump voters and Mike Collins’ constituents who are fighting the good fight against ICE insanity. They’ve begged Collins for help, and he has snubbed them. At this point, his own constituents despise him. Slow to wake, maybe, but waking nonetheless.

I used to fish a river in Collins’ part of the state. I found bait by going to shallow shoals and turning over rock to find hellgrammites.
We should outlaw ammosexual marriages. That, or sterilize the males as is used to be done with screw worm flies.
alas Charles Durning is no longer with us, because he would be the perfect choice for the biopic. His ability to play a complete asshole is legend.
