Trump economic adviser Stephen Moore conceded that President Trump’s performance was “crappy” during the debate he hijacked against Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden earlier this month.
And that’s Moore in a nutshell: a hack who always comes back to lick its masters fingers.
NB: calling Moore an “economic advisor” is slightly less risible than calling Kudlow one since Moore at least has a degree in the subject (masters) but it comes to about the same thing in the end since they’re both utterly full of shit.
I’m sure all these people talk smack about each other, including Trump, in hair-raising terms all the time. It’s a thing you see very commonly among nasty people like them. Zero regard for each other’s dignity, since they have none. I’d bet a hundred bucks every single person in Trump’s orbit regularly calls him stupid and all the synonyms thereof.
Yes, and besides the evidence of our eyes and ears, there is the abrupt polling change in favor of Biden (although of course Trump did so many heinous things things that week, it is hard to disentangle cause and effect).
I do hope that another debate does not happen, or that Biden insists on a town hall format. I don’t think Biden will do badly, but I am sure that if Trump is halfway coherent the media will fashion a “comeback” story that will create more room for disputing the results…
It was disastrous enough that it shouldn’t be called a debate. An extended rant without the cheers of rally attendees, a scared to death incumbent trying to squeeze more votes out of his base by yelling nonsense over the airwaves, and the opportunity to slam Joe for wearing a mask.
That’s my concern as well. As our host points out, DC media (and corporate media generally) is hard-wired to repeat conservative frames of reference and lede with Republican talking points even in cases where the journalist(s) in question may self-identify as liberal; it seems to be a kind of groupthink, a way the hip kids in-the-know are supposed to talk (or avoid right-wing retaliation as the case may be).
It would be nice to see this story trending on Twitter so the orange menace will see it. His ego can’t handle it and Moore (and maybe Kudlow) will be groveling by the end of the day.
To call Stephen Moore an economist is to call Osama bin Laden a humanitarian.
Any hack who espouses low-tax, supply-side, trickle-down economics need to be tarred and feathered. Every single Republican administration has bought into this bullshit and each ended their terms in recession. Plain and simple, it doesn’t work. Moore, Kudlow and their ilk need to be ignored.
Going forward, there will be some setbacks…and there will also be some pieces dealing with positive news.
The type of items which have my keenest interest are those dealing with the increase in present early Democratic voting numbers over 2016. They hold a great deal of promise in terms of overall state of mind, individual and collective.
And the tenor of resultant postings both reflect that and encourage it.
Trump Economic Adviser Joined In On Panning POTUS’ ‘Crappy’ Debate Performance
WTF. Such a dominating performance will live in history right there with the Douglass-Lincoln debates!!! Trump’s name will join Pericles, Cicero and Daniel Webster in the Pantheon of Oratory.
