Phillips O’Brien, war historian, had an excellent piece on the subject yesterday.
Recommend following O’Brien. I find him somewhat hawkish sometimes… he makes a living studying war, after all… but he’s articulate and really well informed on what’s happening in places like Ukraine and Iran, the arsenals and technology of war, and strategy and tactics.
Ponderous matters of state. It never ends. The President is so busy ensuring the architectural and design beauty of the nation’s capital. So neglected for so long. /s .
Maybe Mother Earth herself is rebelling, and this is but the start.
Can’t wait until locusts swarm the circus tent on the White House lawn at a less than opportune moment, while thousands of doves linger above, ready to pelt the “lucky” attendees as they flee.
So O/T here, and I’ve been traveling a bit so may have missed something.
But who else out there is more than a little worried about the shitstorm they seem to be stirring up regarding delivery of mail ballots to millions of voters this autumn?
We’re well beyond thinking they won’t do the unthinkable. That judge’s ruling last week saying there’s nothing to litigate yet sounded like the milk toast opening to every collapse of norms blessed by the SC these past several years. I could practically hear the “voters have other options to make their voice heard” dismissive babbling when the SC issues a pocket ruling implying the officially sanctioned USPS ballot manipulation is AOK just days prior to the election.
