When you are as rich as Bezos, you have a lot of tolerance to short term economic pain, and then it took years for Amazon to stop losing money so he knows how to be patient .
But what might scare him, is that Trump has no real plan, he is just winging it by the hour. So Bezos might order the hacks that still remain at the Washington Post to savage Trump a bit to see if there is a course correction. And as last resource, he can always have a word with JD Vance and further stoke his ambitions and getting him to think about Byzantine solutions.
