If by “they” you mean the RNC, that’s headed by his DIL Lara. So it’s not like “The RNC” would be dumping TSF any time in the foreseeable future. But they MIGHT jettisen the couch boinker in order to steal the news cycle away from whomever Vice President Harris selects as her Vice President.

Revealing too: the idea that being into crypto proves you to be on a sort of cutting-edge genius level is part of the enticement of the con (very similar to the way the same sorts of people worship Mr. Muskptlk and think getting on his bandwagon proves them part of some techno-savvy in-crowd). Mango says that part out loud because his narcissism made him ripe for that brain damage and he thinks by babbling an incorrect, vague reference to crypto, calling it an intellectually high level kind of thing and pretending to know all about it proves him a genius…right out of his “MIT” references playbook. The trick is implying you know all about it and then pulling the “but I don’t want to bore you with the details” gloss-over drive-by.

I’ve never seen anyone be able to transmit their basic self so completely. What was true of Chump 40-50 years ago just gets magnified and transferred whole. Never pivoted, never grew, and never changed one iota when granted enormous powers.
He was always ready to finger, fondle, grope, hump, lick, slime, insert, inveigle, or insinuate himself into any situation and slurp up all the attention and ruin it for the principles. Just a sick, sick set of skills to have.

So if I understand what Hunter Biden was being accused of, and the press it received, the Egypt thing should be a huge story. And if Egypt sent a 200 lb package of US currency to Florida and it was laundered to Trump, multiple people in Trump’s circle know about it and Treasury should be able to suss out what happened.
A real time investigation into treason on one hand and into the DOJ coverup on the other would provide a nice distraction from Trump nattering on about sharks and boats and whether the sharks are African or European sharks.
