Trump Does Not Mention ‘Threat’ As Reason For Killing Soleimani In Private Speech

OMG!

… I think this means Soleimani was essentially killed by friendly fire from the right-wing.

Uh huh.

Or having someone die in a fire in your building because you shorted fire protections.

Just like that.

Trump

the military leader was “saying bad things about our country.”

“How much of this shit do we have to listen to?” the President said in his speech. “How much are we going to listen to?”

Obama after Osama bin Laden was killed. The difference is striking, he credited those who actually were involved. He was roundly criticized for this.

“Because of the extraordinary bravery of the men and women who wear this nation’s uniform and the outstanding work of our intelligence agencies, Osama bin Laden will never again threaten the United States of America.”

Oh, without question. I already avoid Fox News and other right wing sources of misinformation like the proverbial plague, not because I’m a form of frozen precipitation, but because I despise stupid takes and being lied to. I shall keep the fences high -and low - to keep the bullshit at bay.

45* could have been taken out on the emoluments clause in 2/17, but it was more important for McConnell to pack the courts and let rich people evade taxes. 45* is stupid and mean - McConnell betrayed this nation for more electronic ones and zeros in his bank account when he dies.

I bet his best friend Kim Jong Un has killed more people and has plotted more deaths - but 45* only likes to punch down.

I think we’ll have to start watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode by episode again.

This explains very much why DeVos is in a cabinet position.

If abuse of power isn’t a high crime I don’t know what is.

I was sick after I read that article. My son couldn’t finish reading it once he got to the diatribe about the generals “not making a profit”. We need the DNC making commercials about this.

I know! I’m laughing my ass off! According to Dershowitz’s all-too-literal interpretation, “high crimes” must have referred to a President getting high illegally! Because clearly the Founding Fathers wanted everything spelled out!

Trump has hired a gaggle of has-beens and buffoons to represent him!

Before long, he’ll be saying that they called him “Sire.”

Wasn’t it a cover by Fox because Romney tried to make political hay out of it before anyone even knew what had really happened. By the time we found out, the Fox narrative had taken hold and didn’t change. I could Certainly be wrong but I think Mitt really started it.

Well, I think we have at least one example of someone who is . . .

. . . and now he’s running the country, sort of.

Imagine an army of Trump clones, as irredeemable and unstoppable -and stupid!- as kudzu. Then be grateful that horror stories don’t come true.

Come for the beaches. Stay for the false incoming missile alerts.

Thing 1: Of course his comments make no damn sense.
Thing 2: This is state sanctioned murder.
Thing 3: If “saying bad things” were a capital offense then I should be dead from a drone strike a long time ago.

By this measure, his own beloved NYC would be a target.

Just one of the cartoons at the time:

Anyone read Rick Wilson’s book?

I guess he advises Democrats to forget policy and focus on making the election about Trump.
I’ve been a fan of his for a while so will have to order it.
