President Donald Trump gave a speech at a private fundraiser that divulged the details of his assassination of Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani on Friday evening–but did not mention any “imminent threat” that his administration has cited as the reason for Soleimani’s killing.
Trump had Soleimani killed because he was terrified of the Iraq embassy becoming a Benghazi-type event, so he lashed out to look strong. What he ignored was that Benghazi was only a major thing because Fox and their fellow propagandists made it that, and they never would have turned their lying spotlight on him.
Trump killed him because he’s always wanted to kill people. He’s a fucking sadist. It’s part of the disease. He wanted to kill people and now he can. It’s really as simple as that. See, sanctions don’t give him a stiffy. Strategically isolating a country doesn’t do it either. Not even his famous deal-making. Killing. That’s the real kick. And he’s getting a taste for it.
Although I want him gone more than anything, just imagine if he had a Democratic Congress with Harry Reid in charge. And yes, he is indeed getting a taste for it, which means we’re in for more. The lying about the 11 soldiers? Not a peep.

There is a reason that security companies portray burglars on TV with the mask/get-up. It symbolizes “crook”.
For some reason, the business-suit seems to hide that kind of thing. In the case of Barr and McConnell, I am sorry for that.
That, plus (1) mastery of legalese (Barr) (2) Senate-ese (McConnell) and (3) reptilian “calm” goes a long way for these two profoundly evil men.
In the audio, Trump is heard telling donors that he had decided to order a drone strike on Soleimani because the military leader was “saying bad things about our country.”
“How much of this shit do we have to listen to?” the President said in his speech. “How much are we going to listen to?”
I just hope none of his feral Trumpers take this to heart and decide to go after American citizens who say “bad things” about Trump.

There was no “imminent” threat.
We know Trump lies. We know he is a terrible person. It takes a little getting used to, though, to think that Trump had Soleimani killed because Soleimani said bad things about him or us. Let’s hope that the assassination was more ordinary – retaliation for Soleimani’s past actions. Let’s hope Trump is not developing a taste for assassination. God help us.

If “saying bad things about our country” is justification for our “president” ordering premeditated murder, we had all better get ready for a world wide blood bath.

This is likely true because Trump is a wannabe tough guy and needed to “make his bones” in order to join the ranks of the other, well established, cruel and brutal tough guys like Putin, Bin Salman, and Kim Jong Whichever. He admires them so.

Trump and his sycophants are so stupid, the brain pauses processing in order to evaluate whether the signals it’s receiving are actually true.
To say this stupid shit in front of a live audience? No, no, forget it, no one could be that stupid.

We are going to have to focus on Trump’s henchmen. Dictators need henchmen. And, dictator or not, Trump is stupid, lazy, clueless, insensitive and immature beyond belief.

By now, I’m sure many of you have seen this article in the WaPo. It’s deeply upsetting we have a President who fundamentally doesn’t understand America’s values, goals, and commitments vis-a-vis her allies. But at least he’s not a “dope” or a “baby”. Nope. This tough guy assassinates generals without contemplating the consequences.
