OT, but more TrumpKabuki Theater about the wall Mexico is paying for…

His narcissism has made it so that he must take credit for everything, even the obviously stupid ideas that he is pushing. It can’t be that he got the idea from Putin–that would mean that would not only support the “puppet” reality, but would suggest that he was clueless and had to be enlightened. Therefore, even though it is obvious, he has to deny that anyone told him about this.

OMFG…somebody actually confronted him on lying?
Maybe we should mark this day down in history.

Though the reporter questioned where he got his conspiracy theory from, it would have been much nicer had he or she just put forth the question more directly, something to the effect, “We know Ukraine is not responsible, that Putin has made similar claims, but why do you keep repeating it and pointing to people who are spreading disinformation and let Russia from being held accountable?”

I know, waaay tooo much to ask of the press. That person would surely be banned from access the next time around, and isn’t that what they all value most? Access.

That pudgy orange miscreant of intentional lies knows how to use the press to disseminate lies daily and all the press still does to this day is ask why, when they seemingly already know the answer. Instead of confronting him on his bullshit when they generally have the chance, they give him even more opportunities to spread his lies further. Good on the Post but its a small drop in the bucket of overflowing bullshit.

ETA: Would like to have heard that the reporter also said, “You’re dodging the question, sir, please answer it for the American people.”

His reaction was almost as if someone caught him masturbating!

Please, TPM writers, use the correct language.

Chemtrails and fluoridation are conspiracy theories.

'Ukraine did it and framed Russia’ is state-sponsored disinformation.

Not calling it for what it really is is just piling misinformation on top of the disinformation.

Well, one thing’s for sure … the oranges of the ‘Ukraine interfered in the 2016 election’ fabrication was not in the truth. Nor was it in the findings and conclusions of the U.S. intelligence services. Nor did it just occur to the stable genius based on his intelligence and keen powers of reasoning.

Politico Magazine had a long article that documents everything Russia did to try to influence our election:

I read most of it and just skimmed over the highlights and major points because it was too long for an early morning read.

I heard this morning on the teevee that the Justice Department is claiming a national emergency to allow the U.S. government to seize the privately owned land before a purchase price can be determined.

The only sensible response is to get the football and nuke the San Andreas fault. California sliding into the ocean is a 3 day story, tops. Is there some way to save Pepperdine U?

Ironic, since the Mango Mussolini IS the real national emergency.

I know that to kill a vampire, and keep him dead you drive a wooden stake through his heart, but how do you kill the lies that live after the lyingest liar that ever lied a lie?

2-4 key GOP-controlled purpling states in November 2020: “Oops…looks like we might’ve been hacked, but there’s no way to tell what they did, so we’re going to certify the results anyway and then defend them all the way to the Trump loyalist SCOTUS.”

I keep wondering when the Malheur folks will show up. This should be right up their alley, defending a person’s land against the tyranny of the government.
