It looks like the strange Republikan strategy of killing your base is coming home to roost. Or infect.
good luck, when you come back to commenting I am sure your attitude will be much different.
Kinda like @Tena “Has the MF’er resigned yet”
lol
That’s the best part
They won’t wait that long
“It is what it is” opens up so many attacks
If the US had followed the same protocols as Finland, the total number of deaths nationwide would have been about 20,000, not 160,000, the number of deaths we’ll hit today. The good news is that therapeutics and medical treatment strategies are improving so fewer deaths per persons hospitalized. What will not be fixed is the potential for long-term damage to survivors. The cement lung phenomenon, for example, could cause a lifetime impairment of lung capacity. We could be living with the consequences of this pandemic for decades.
Wow. And I thought Dick Cheney saying “So?” about the Iraq War would be the most callous thing I ever heard.
You know things are bad when you look back with nostalgia on the Bush-Cheney days.
waste of time
chuckie is like a roller coaster with no end to the track. Roll with the ratings and never interrupt to get a little truth or call a lie a lie.
You can stop right there.
Here is the whole thing if anybody can stomach it
When Swan asked why he couldn’t “do that,” the President just continued to insist that “you have to go by the cases.”
“Read the books, read the manuals!”
“Nobody’s done more for dead people than I have.”
I watched a clip with closed captioning and no sound, so, I’ll grant you that I may have missed some nuance here. It seems to me that he literally did not understand what the statistics mean. He was so focused on finding a way that he could “win” that he either ignored or didn’t understand the numbers.
His lack of empathy means that he can’t extrapolate “deaths” to “actual human beings who have families that love them” and he has no way to realize that “hospitalizations” means “terrified people and overworked health care workers”. “Cases” just means “I look bad”.
That interview is damning.
Really, Biden must be running the cheapest presidential campaign ever. Trump is doing all the heavy lifting.
Oh just wait They’re going there already . Ah back to the BENGHAZI! well
Nothing says “We ain’t got nothin’” like a rehash of BENGHAZI!
He was taught well from around age 5.
where it all began.
He doesn’t give a shit that the coronavirus is killing thousands of Americans each day.
More to the point, he refuses to use any of the tools at his disposal to DO anything about it.
This has been his consistent (non) response over the past seven months.
This is an astounding Presidential dereliction of duty, with massive, ongoing consequences.
He needs to be impeached and removed. And if Pence doesn’t do any better, impeach and remove him too. Because I guarantee you, Nancy Pelosi won’t twiddle her thumbs, tweet, and go play golf during the worst crisis America has faced since the Cuban missile crisis.
That’s his terminal Narcissism in a nutshell
A commenter opinied that the interview was like “British” “black humor”; a Monty Python skit. And it’s true. I can imagine John Cleese interviewing Graham Chapman (in a fat suit) as a dotty Trump.
We’ve traded going to the bar for schools reopening. We got used to mass shootings every week. American Exceptionalism.
That eye roll though. Wow. Cynical psycho.
Don’t get the Clothes Line Blues…
Have you heard the news he said with a grin
The vice president’s gone mad
Where downtown when last night
Hmm, say, that’s too bad
Well, there’s nothing we can do about it,said the neighbor
It’s just something we’re gonna have to forget
Yes, I guess so said ma
Then she asked me if the clothes was still wet
Bob Dylan
Right out there in front of G*d and everybody.
