Hmmmm… It may have been a tactic to cause outrage (they bluffed, assuming Schumer would balk or deny the request).

Schumer called their bluff and said, yeah, sure, of course, so now they have to regroup and think up another outrage stunt.

I tend to agree. Were probably hoping to get donations from Jewish conservatives. I think the redneck slush fund is probably running a little dry now that he’s out of the spotlight.

Orthodox or not orthodox? Survey says?

The client has done so much less than nothing to earn the presumption of good faith, that the lawyer’s sincerity is questionable too. It’s almost as if client doesn’t want his fellow insurrectionists to find out what religion his lawyer practices.

Considering the players, I gotta wonder how much that was about yanking Congress’ chain or setting them up for some discrediting allegation.
The gamesmanship never seems to stop with these people.

it would seem that Thing’s lawyers belatedly came to the realization that allowing the public more time to think over the evidence produced wouldn’t really serve their client’s interests very well.

Instead, Jewish space lasers will be used to pause sun-down on Friday.

Castor always wanted to run for PA governor. This opportunity allows him to leap to US Senator after Toomey announced he’s not running.
Consider today’s trial start as Bruce Castor’s day one of his campaign to run for US Senator in 2022. He’s unknown in PA outside of the Philadelphia area. This will ingratiate him with the upstate rural PA Trump supporters. It’s a case he’ll surely “win” and claim he defended Trump against leftist, socialist bed-wetting Commies.

It took them this long to find another lawyer willing to be involved with this debacle.

Or…the request didn’t poll well with T****'s anti-Semitic Qanon base.
