Trump Defends Delaying Millions In Military Aid From Ukraine

Trump always tries to defend the indefensible. It’s his shtick, he says something stupid and then strains credulity by by doubling down trying to justify it. He is a buffoon. He lacks the required temperament to hold the office…but I repeat myself.

I believed we are truly screwed Trump doesn’t seem to care what they think of him, he is convinced he can do whatever he wants, and he is correct, nobody can stop him.

As things fall apart it’s time to start looking at all these clown college, err Federalist Society judges the repugs have embedded in our legal system.

Great! Then surely there will be a record of efforts to get other countries to help fund Ukraine’s defense from that time period. Why don’t you go ahead and produce those records, Trump?

It is his second round of destroying NATO for Putin, and least I forget Moscow Mitch.

The one thing about this dynamic that I think has shifted is that as this story unravels, we hear about entire US government departments being complicit or participating in this extortion. I know that’s been the norm for a while but the MSM has continually placed them as hapless employees, some who support the president and others working in the deep state. Now the public can recognize the danger in clearer terms (Rudy or no Rudy!)

Don’t forget that all the other countries in the World are taking advantage of the US. Just another log on the grievance pile.

Trump (and assorted mob bosses and con men): “Because very important, very important, I want other countries to put up money. I think it is unfair that we put up the money,” he said.

Other presidents (not so corrupt and with adult vocabularies): “The United States and our democratic allies should all provide needed financial aid to Ukraine to support their fight for independence from Russia.” (or something like that)

and

“Then people called me and said, ‘Oh let it go.’ And I let it go, but we paid the money, the money was paid …"

What people? When? For what reasons? Related to what else that was happening? Show us the records.

Military aid “from” Ukraine? How much do we get from them?

To summarize: this is the latest Trump lie to cover up his criminal and unpatriotic action.

Yeah Rudy is just the distraction, it’s the “don’t listen to what they say, watch what they are doing”.

The EU provided a 1.8 Bn Euro aid package to Ukraine.

As usual, Trump knows bupkis about what’s going on.

And just to note how squishy Romney is…

“If the President asked or pressured Ukraine’s president to investigate his political rival, either directly or through his personal attorney, it would be troubling in the extreme. Critical for the facts to come out,” Romney tweeted.

Damn the torpedoes. The senator is extremely troubled, if not rather exercised, by the possibility of something that Trump and Giuliani have already admitted on camera.

They’ll have to move Trump’s grave to a secured, secret location. The vandalism and general graffitic disrespect will be epic, otherwise.

Even if this is true, it wasn’t his call to make since Congress had already appropriated the funds

Yep I will say Rachel’s thread on Russia’s command of the US government has been amazing

that’s been my complaint from the beginning.

I don’t think I need to check my notes to find that ‘from the beginning’ was about half a second after he uttered this particular nonsense.

Spankee was looking at a twofer: he can make his puppet master, Putin, happy by delaying the aid, and he can squeeze the new Ukraine president to do a phony investigation of the Biden’s.
