That all of these defendants could skate due to the alleged indiscretion of the DAs personal life isdisconcerting…legal rope a dope evident and on track in all of the Trump major criminal cases.

If Fani Willis is tossed overboard on this case, then Clarence Thomas should suffer a similar fate in all matters “Donnie!” FTS!!! Sheldon Whitehouse is right!!

Sorry, but the assumptions under this statement are false. Both of them.

Things not going too well for Merchant.

True, but that is an ethical consideration at most, not a legal one.

Witness Undermines Key DA Claim

After lots of objections from the prosecutors, Yeartie testified that Willis’ personal relationship began with Wade in 2019.

That contradicts Willis’ keystone claim: that the relationship commenced in 2022, after Wade was hired.

Yeartie was close friends with Willis.

Ouch!

Somebody is lying. My money is on Yeartie.

Yes. Being off by a few years is not an innocent mistake. I hope that it is Yeartie who is lying.

‘No Doubt’ That Romantic Relationship Began in 2019

Yeartie affirmed that there’s “no doubt” in her mind that Wade and Willis started their romantic relationship in 2019.

Wade said in an affidavit last week that the relationship began in 2022. Willis hired Wade in November 2021.

Did Yeartie say she saw Willis and Wade being affectionate? I didn’t hear that. I heard her say, based on her personal observations of Wade and Willis together, she had no doubt they were having a romantic relationship. It remains to be seen what that means. Presumably the DA’s office will flesh that out?

I thought that the judge set out that he was not as concerned about the relationship as he was whether she benefitted financially from the relationship. But if Merchant can prove they are both lied, yikes.

We don’t know that yet.

This should be a warning to anyone trying to do anything to TIFG.

If there’s a scintilla of scandal in your background or even if there’s not but something can be manufactured, his minions and lawyers will do everything they can to discredit you and your efforts.

I don’t know what the hell she was thinking, but she clearly wasn’t think with her brain. Sorry, but we’d say the same thing if a guy did this (and we have).
