We are tripping the light fantastic now. Put on your dancing shoes, it is going to get sweaty.
How about another article of impeachment, Madame Speaker?
Pompeo in that picture: the face of someone pushing you into the back of a van.
Trump is required to consult regularly with the Congress until US Armed Forces are no longer engaged in hostilities, provide such other information as the Congress may request in the fulfillment of its constitutional responsibilities, and report to the Congress periodically, but not less than every six months, on the status, scope and duration of such hostilities.
He has given the required after-the-fact notice and marked it as classified, but will make all further reports via Twitter.
Moreover, he’s calling his tweets “legal notice.” OMFG.
A looming question is when is Jack Dorsey going to shut down his account. He’s broken every Twitter Terms of Service there are, multiple times.
BTW Border Patrol/Customs is reportedly now detaining Irani-Americans at the Washington-Canada border. Good times ahead!
A “disproportionate” response is illegal by international and US law.
Also, a Presidential tweet has as much legal standing as one of mine. None. Nothing more than his personal demonic musings revealed for all the world to see.
Fuck you, you corrupt, moronic psychopath.
And Republicans continue to be just fine with this guy.
OT, but potentially important.
Perhaps in a disproportionate manner.
Don’t they teach something about this in the military? You know, about not responding in a disproportionate manner?
I’ll say it again:
Dear Anonymous:
Go fuck yourselves.
I’m so glad you posted that - I read it earlier on Rawstory and couldn’t figure out where to slot it in.
Maybe I shouldn’t, but if I find something that seems important, I call it OT and throw it up. I hope it’s not a big social faux pas here. Just mean to spur some discussion, because I do enjoy reading other’s thoughts.
I appreciate the OT posts. Keep em coming!
O I go OT all the time so if it is a big faux pas then I’m guilty too. I think it’s an important story.
Well, a king, emperor, or some other form of “fearless leader” might get away with Rule By Tweet. I’m guessing that any normal U.S. court (not run by Judge Rao) would not be convinced, maybe not even our current Supremes.
according to DOJ…
Now ‘Cecil’ could nip this, but this country is dealing with an undeclared civil war.
So him threatening war crimes is also a official legal document?
The Twitter-verse is now the means of informing Congress of policy decisions…holy shite. Next, we’ll all have to have social media accounts to keep with the fool and if we don’t, we’ll have to rely on the fake media. This man’s foolishness knows no bounds.
They are official, unless if he was joking or if we decide they aren’t.
nope, they’re official statements.
Spicer was asked about that and he said yes.
