Actual serious question from me. I suppose it’s directed at the constitutional lawyers in the house, but I don’t quite know who to direct it at.
In Washington right now we have a situation where a sheriff is giving orders to his deputies to ignore a court order. It seems to me that at that point the Sheriff is in violation of his oath, and the deputies should disregard his orders and obey the court orders. This seems to be exactly the situation we’re in at a national level. If law enforcement refuses to follow court orders, by definition the interpretation of law, are they actual law enforcement anymore? It seems that these refusals by the DOJ, DHS, ICE and a host of other agencies represent a willing conversion from law enforcement and a transformation into paramilitary organizations. As such can you really call any action they perform while in violation law enforcement? From my knothole it seems like we’re in a vigilante state, you’ll have to submit but you should think twice about any rights you presume to have.
My daughter has one fat cat and one in shape cat. There is absolutely nothing to like about the fat one. The only person who disagrees with me is my daughter.
A highway in Alabama was temporarily shut down after a runaway kangaroo interrupted traffic and caused multiple vehicles to crash. Sheila the kangaroo was spotted hopping down Interstate 85 in Macon County after escaping from an enclosure at a nearby petting zoo on Tuesday. Her daring escape proved to be so jarring that it caused two rubbernecking drivers to crash into each other, shutting down the lane. Sheila was unharmed by the crash, but her adventure soon came to an end after she was tranquilized by state troopers and returned to her owners. “She’s back home safe. She’s up. She’s not sedated anymore. She’s eating. She’s drinking. She’s not injured,” said owner Patrick Starr, who runs a pumpkin patch and petting zoo but keeps Sheila as a pet. “She’s a sweet pet. I’m glad she’s back home, and I’m glad everybody slowed down a little bit,” he added. “When somebody said there was a kangaroo of course I didn’t believe it, and nobody believed it. But I’m looking at him,” said Macon County Sheriff Andre Brunson following the animal’s capture. “We see a little bit of everything here.”
What’s really sickening is how tRump and his WH thought this was some great form of entertainment for the crowd; that it would joyfully excite them to see a man being yanked, manhandled and subjected to the kind of rough treatment he received. This is not the America I grew up knowing…but it has become one under this horrible pResident.
This video is showing cruel and unusual punishment, but his MAGAts are continuing to be desensitized into seeing this kind of treatment of detainees as completely reasonable and justified…as are we all to some extent. They don’t even stop to consider these people, including Garcia, had no due process before being sent there. Because for them, they hate all the same people tRump hates. That’s always been their strongest connection to one another. Not merely being some poor-off hayseed in the sticks. Its been a cult of haters, bigots and control freaks. That’s who they are.
tRump shows how proud is he of ‘the othering’ and the cruelty used against these deported detainees. It makes me sick.
The notion that they even put a soundtrack to the video, like a music score, tells you how much they relish showing it as a form of entertainment.
Bread and circuses. Sickening and shameful watching fellow Americans cheer that shit.
I saw a chart (wished I’d saved it) that showed that when Bessent was on TV, market did ok. When Navarro was on TV, market went bad. Navarro was on CNBC this morning.
