I would take your admonishment to heart sooner if he weren’t a total constant ignoramus. Windmills don’t cause cancer, OK? They don’t rake the forests in Finland. There are literally scores of examples of things he gets wrong that smart people don’t get wrong. And while I hate to spread rumors, the rumors yes they’re rumors of his ongoing, accelerating cognitive decline are nevertheless persistent and based in observable fact. So this matters. The whole pattern of devastating unfitness matters. It is a big deal, actually, when you zoom out.

This is the kind of nonsense where the bothsiderism attack really hurts the country.

Both sides do NOT make unscientific claims. But the moment one iota of something scientific goes wrong or one scientist out of 100 claims a different result, then the whole wazoo goes out the door.

The media do NOT help the situation, in fact, they enflame it.

Yeah yeah the media’s so complicit. I don’t know how I even heard about those mistakes. Some sort of resistance samizdat because the “corporate” media “never call him out” and so forth, I guess. Say, how about that business with Pompeo and the NPR reporter? What, you didn’t hear about that? Neither did I!
