@southerndem shared a screenshot of something that Trump actually posted on his Truth Social site. He posted it on July 4th, no less!

I think that it is newsworthy. Also, it’s obvious from their posting history that @southerndem doesn’t share Trump’s sentiment.

Let it go.

I say, that’s not for certain. Trump would try and save himself because of his narcissism.

My “like” is for your posting this, not for the content.
We’re doomed. I’ll be on the other side of the grass, but I weep for my descendants and others I love.

TFG probably wants all those North Korean participation trophies/medals as well.

Personally I don’t have the time or the stomach to lurk around all the dark corners of the interwebs, but I still like to know what’s going on. It’s helpful when somebody passes along a glimpse of it after enduring some nasty bits so we don’t have to.

Yeah, we were MADE to say it, just not mean it, dontchaknow . . .

I share your sentiment. My daughter decided it was time to get pregnant and while I am happy for her and excited about seeing my new grandchild, I’m worried about its future and hoping it has a future. We have to keep demanding our government do something or we’re literally going to be toast. And it is definately a political problem.

Awareness is the key to progress. I hate most of the things I read and see but if we’re going to survive in this world we have to make changes or we’re stuck with it. Don’t close your eyes and ears! Do something!

BE WOKE!

If only he had done it while wearing a tan suit.

We’re obsessed with trump and what he has to say and do. That has to stop. If we don’t know by now how repellent he is we’re in trouble. OTOH it’s when Ignore User List becomes useful.

Trump is the center of gravity of the Republican party right now. He’s far ahead in polling for the nomination. There are many things that could derail him, but right now he’s news, even if we’re sick of seeing his face.

The day TPM “just stops” posting news about Trump while he’s this important to Republicans and therefore should be important to Democrats, is the day I go somewhere else for news and discussion.

We are living through an unprecedented time. A former President of the United States (an office that he should have never been able to ascend to) has been federally indicted and will most likely be federally indicted one or two more times.

As distasteful and vile as he is, what he says and does during this time is newsworthy. I won’t close my eyes to it.

In the newspapers I read heavy coverage is given to him. Coverage of his possible rivals, not so much, coverage of Joe’s chances of beating him are also very good, let’s hear more about that.

@kelaine Not closing my eyes, I think, just so very tired of him and his successful grabs for attention 24/7.

I wish that we could get some sort of warning – like when certain television programs are on and say “may not be suitable for children”. Something like “you are about to hear the voice of the 45th President. You may want to change the channel for xx minutes.”

I have a feeling that this won’t last very long on here but it made me laugh.

I would be all for that. His voice makes me cringe.

Hear you there. And yet in a Sarah Cooper video it’s ok. Some kind of genius there.
