Remember back in February, when Trump had The Resolute Desk sent for “light refurbishing”? Speculation was that it was because fElon’s kid wiped boogers on it. However what appears to be a replica of the desk is now down at Mar-a-Lago.
Raise your hand if you think he’s got the real one down there and a replica in the Oval Office? He has it on display, behind velvet ropes.

Mixed feels about the cave. Kids will be eating. Trump proved he’d rather starve children and take away poor people’s health insurance. However, Johnson doesn’t have any more excuses to calling the House back and we’ll see a vote on the Epstein files. One of the most viral Facebook posts this week was from a MAGA mom complaining that her Democratic mother-in-law won’t loan her grocery money. She explains that she can’t feed her family because Trump’s government shutdown has frozen her SNAP (Food Stamps) and WIC benefits, and, she wrote of her husband:
“He asked his mother to buy a can [of baby formula] until our WIC comes in. Her response was, ‘We voted for this.’”
The article itself talks about how things have changed in the US since FDR, the economy, minimum wage, single to multiple wage earner families. A lot of insight to where we are today.
