I study history

In between all the other things he studies.

I have no idea where he finds the time.

Just look at the expressions on the fox dubes faces…
I think they were scared he was going to confess on live TV

This man has learned nothing from history. He’d have to read to do that. Just another lie.

He must have skipped over the part where Nixon resigned.

In 1972 Trump because of bone spurs was deemed permanently ineligible for military service.

This is what Trump was doing when he was “observing” Nixon.

A footnote, Trump cannot remember whether it was his left or right. He will need to study his history further, I think.

“I did nothing wrong and there are no tapes,” Trump said.

Translation: “I did it and there are tapes.”

“[Nixon] was probably guilty.”

Trump is precious.

He gets the Nixon thing from Roger Stone. See the documentary movie about Stone, and it includes revealing information and interviews with Manafort. These guys state categorically that they could get Mickey Mouse elected using their techniques. There you have it.

I thought he learned all of his history through osmosis. After all, surely he had at least one Thanksgiving dinner with his Uncle John, who taught electrical engineering at MIT!

It wasn’t Mickey Mouse that was elected. It is Yosemitie Sam.

Moreover, unlike Toadglans, Nixon was never impeached.

That makes sense.

Because he certainly learned nothing from Lincoln, the Roosevelts, Eisenhower, Kennedy or Obama.

The difference was that back then there was the special prosecutor was Leon Jaworski who understood the severity of charges in the context of the protection of the republic, now we had bumbling Robert Mueller that decided to give a pass to Trump and let Congress deal with it, even when it was clear what Barr had in mind the coward chickened out and hid behind a a bush of legalese.

Only because he resigned, taking a deal from Ford that he would be pardoned.
