I finally broke down and took a subscription to the Atlanta Journal Constitution because I like local sources for important news stories. So far, they are exceeding expectations and here is their latest story about the phony electors. The article talks about the role David Shafer, the chairman of the Georgia Republican Party played in this saga. David Shafer’s lawyers sent a letter to DA Fani Willis outlining Shafer’s defense regarding his role in the phony electors scheme.

I think if Kevin McCarthy were a normal and sane person, we would see him trying to reach a deal with the Democrats, however that is not going to happen. I say this because of what the Senate Democrats are saying and there is a thought that Kevin McCarthy does not want to be like John Boehner. If that is not bad enough Kevin McCarthy lives in the right-wing bubble world and he believes that if the US defaults, then the Republicans will use that, along with the border situation as talking points to slam the Democrats in the 2024 election. Marjorie Toddler Greene is using the Allen gun tragedy as a talking point about needing guns because “those people” are getting ready storm the border and the Democrats will not protect us.
