House Democrats fell back on seniority in electing 74-year-old Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) to be the ranking member on the Oversight Committee, thwarting the upstart bid from 35-year-old Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
I think it’s safe to say he never let’s go of an imagined slight.
Where’s the ‘missing middle’ for the dems? Maybe someone between 74 and 35?
Donnie needs to read Article 3 section 3 of the document he loves and hates. Treason requires an act of war.against the United States and individuals are not mentioned in that context. Nor has anyone committed warfare … so far. Bringing a charge of treason requires 2 witnesses to such an act. Trump is short on that I bet

Trump will likely order his DOJ to initiate a prosecution of someone that has quite simply, and inarguably, exercised their 1st Amendment right of free speech in criticizing him. Either that target buckles and settles, or they fight the prosecution. If they fight it may make it to SCOTUS. All bets are off if that happens. Members of the court have already signaled a willingness to revisit Sullivan. We may very well be in for a radical refinement of our libel/slander/defamation laws.
