President Donald Trump was expected to appear at the Trump International Hotel on election night but has cancelled those plans and will likely to be at the White House instead, The New York Times reported on Friday.
So, when he loses on Election Night, will he have his big supporters wreck the White House? Is that why he’s changed the venue, forgoing all that added revenue for drinks, food, etc? He’s pretty sure he’s gonna lose, and he wants a chance to get a little vengeance if that happens?
Something tells me that the USSS will be on scene to avoid such things. Hopefully US Marshals will also have the whole place surrounded to keep dotard from slipping away.
Yeah, I don’t think a sudden attack of ethical fastidiousness is the main reason. There are other reasons to cancel your big victory party when one of the most powerful drives in your psyche is the avoidance of humiliation.
‘The change of election night plans…’ BS. HE doesn’t care if it ‘raises concerns’. He a) doesn’t think he’ll win and b) with all the fixes that are in between the Courts and the corrupt enablers in the states, he’s not sure the results will be in.
You ask me, the White House has already been wrecked. I just hope it can be sufficiently decontaminated for future use. I fear the only way to truly remove the Trump stink will be to tear it down, remove the top 10 feet of soil, and bury it all in a Super Fund site, encapsulated in reinforced concrete. Then rebuild.
Democrats have raised questions about the intermingling of Trump’s business with his office as president — and the move to host an event at his Washington hotel would likely reinforce those concerns,
Since when does Trump care about what Democrats say about conflict of interest?
It’s back to the bunker for Bunker Boy. We should start seeing extra barricades go up around the White House this weekend. He’s probably already ordered four years of food supplies and Diet Coke from a survivalist website.
And in addition to violating the crowd size rules…If the election goes as we have been working for, a public concession speech would be called for and based on our past experience, he won’t be capable of delivering a respectful public admission that Biden has won. I can’t even imagine him appearing in front of his supporters and donors and thanking them for their efforts and acknowledging his defeat.
Yes that, however, I take the cancellation as a sign, unlike in 2016, that the husker has not gotten the takers so no cash to divert to his favorite charity, his pocket.
