I thought it was of extreme importance that we know the winner on election night. Well, Biden had more EV’s by midnight than Trump, so we should have just stopped and declared him the winner!

If not for the EC, the winner would be clear and evident. I lived in France in 1995 when they had their presidential election. The polls closed at 8 PM and the winner was known around 8:05. Ok, they’re all one time zone except for small fairly small overseas territories, but we could certainly have had an answer by this morning if it was the guy who had the most votes.

Also …James Carville is dead to me. I knew it was going to take a long time. I had myself ready for it. Then I heard the sweet bayou sounds of James Carville on CNN and MSNBC lulling me into thinking that everyone else had it wrong. An early night he said, by 10:30 he said, I was giddy! I cheered up friends by saying he must know something I don’t. He referred to other democrats as bed wetters and pee pantsers. He is all class. He was also wrong. We may win but he should be rode out of town on a rail. I think he was loaded last night. I should have been too I feel hungover anyway.
