Trump campaign lawyer Joe diGenova resigned from the elite Gridiron Club earlier this week after he suggested that a former cybersecurity official should be executed after touting a secure election and rebutting claims of widespread fraud made by President Donald Trump and his allies.
Joe you cancelled yourself. You got too caught up in the game, and you lost.
Now Joe’s remarks were made on Howie Carr’s show. And we’ve heard the clip of Joe being Joe, but did Howie push back? Did he laugh? Shouldn’t Howie bear some scrutiny?
Gee, Joe, if you’d have used your head you might have realized that with daddy donnie losing the election there can now be expected consequences for being a belligerent asshole.
I wonder if Idi Amin told everyone that the genocide was a joke?
Or Manson ? “Yeah, I was just goofing around. Didn’t mean Sharon Tate any harm. My followers didn’t get that I was joking…”
Joey, your remarks, like tRump’s, could lead to somebody being killed. It’s already happened. Social repudiation should be only the first step in your never-ending punishment. Same with Boss tRump and his whole gang.
Yes, Joe, “we’re at a strange time in American history” when threatening to murder a public official has consequences. At least, we’re trying to remove the Trump stench and get back to that point.
See, if you’re forced to resign then maybe you did a shameful thing and the club doesn’t want to see your stupid face any more. But if you were “canceled,” well, that’s a bunch of liberal snowflakes who can’t take a funny funny joke about having someone shot just because we’re living through tense national circumstances your own scum friends have created that greatly exacerbate the threat of easily foreseen stochastic violence against the guy you said should be shot. Damn snowflakes OH I HATE THEM SO MUCH I WANT TO—um—haha.
