President Trump wants you to know he definitely did not have a stroke last year. In fact, Trump was so adamant in his denials that he couldn’t stop bringing it up over and over again on Tuesday, making it an even bigger story.
A Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) is often called a mini-stroke, but it’s really a major warning.
TIA is a temporary blockage of blood flow to the brain. Since it doesn’t cause permanent damage, it’s often ignored. But this is a big mistake. TIAs may signal a full-blown stroke ahead.
My dad had these, he’d would go out for a walk and the next thing he knows he is waking up in the bushes next to the sidewalk after passing out. He was subsequently evaluated and was found to have severely blocked arteries in his head. To resolve this the doctor opened up his skull and rerouted an artery that had been feeding his scalp into his brain. I was calling him the six million dollar man afterwards, he was supposed to get another 10 years of life from the procedure, that was 1993, he lived to 2017.
If you lie about your height & weight and write your own medial report…
Notwithstanding those 20K+ lies, its hard to believe anything coming out of the mendacious mouth of the Orange Menace at this point because he has a lot of lying priors!
Why so defensive it was only regular medical check up? Not to forget, have Pence on stand by too!
“Trump wants you to know he definitely did not have a stroke last year. In fact, Trump was so adamant in his denials that he couldn’t stop bringing it up over and over again…”
He’s just pathetically obvious. If you accuse him of something that’s true it eats at him and he can’t let it go. But just for funsies let’s quickly tick off as many ways as we can think of that he’s clearly not neurologically healthy.
(Deep breath)…
He often walks oddly, dragging or flipping his leg. He has obvious balance issues. He struggled, with hesitant, shuffling steps, to walk down a slight incline. He stands in an odd way strongly associated with frontotemporal dementia. He clutches the podium like a life preserver when he speaks; when he stands he often holds one arm, possibly to keep it from jerking. He often has incidents speaking when his shoulders spasm (this is called myoclonic jerking) and he garbles a word, seems to lose his train of thought, then tries to smooth it over by interrupting himself with some meaningless phrase like, “Look. We all know what’s going on here” and then resuming with some new subject. He often slurs his words. He often seems tired and enervated. He sometimes swaps the word he obviously means with something similar, as when he repeatedly said “oranges” when he was trying to say “origins.” He often misreads words, saying something similar but obviously wrong, then tries to pretend both words were meant. Twice recently he’s stumbled and nearly fallen in public. And he’s repeatedly used both hands to drink from a glass.
Outside of that there’s nothing to be concerned about, except all the other weird stuff.
So his assurances that he has no problems whatsoever, like assurances of perfect health we’ve had from his doctors that we found later he wrote himself, are perhaps not to be taken at face value.
“If another CNN employee said similar things about Barack Obama they’d be fired immediately, so the same standard should be applied here,” the Trump campaign wrote. ‘That is, of course, unless CNN is complicit in the smear campaign in order to level the playing field against Joe Biden, somebody who truly has lost a step.”
I’d say there is something terribly wrong inside his head. And from the looks of things, this may be contagious. As many more americans seem to be suffering from the same unstable brain condition.
My late father had these but since he died of kidney failure, they weren’t implicit in his death but they sure weren’t good. A couple of weeks ago marked my 20th anniversary of having a hemorrhagic stroke; one of the big bastards. Outside of having the thing in the first place, I was damned lucky. I recovered without any paralysis, loss of vision, slurred speech, none of that.
All this brings me to the point that these things are nothing to screw around with. Mine almost killed me and my Old Man had at least one traffic accident that, years later, I still wonder if a TIA didn’t play an evil part in.
If this fucker in the White House had one or more than one, what the hell is he doing in the Oval Office and what in God’s name are his DOCTORS doing?
During his presser yesterday(?) when he referred to “mafia talking points”, a number of commenters thought it was “mob talking points” and he inserted mafia instead. But I can’t get at this explanation. I think he misread or misinterpreted “Antifa talking points”. Mafia was substituted for Antifa.
